From 10 to 11 April, Galileo 4 Mobility was presented at “La Jornada Catalana de la Mobilitat 2019”, held in Caldes de Montbui, Catalonia. Organised by AMTU (Association of municipalities for Mobility and Urban Transport), the event gathered over 400 professionals from public administration and transport operators in Catalonia.
Martí Jofre, coordinator of G4M, explained the benefits of using GALILEO for demand-responsive mobility services and MaaS (Mobility as a Service), as well as the five pilot demonstrators that are going to take place in three different European cities (Barcelona, Paris and Thessaloniki) this year within the scope of the project.
The event consisted of two parallel sessions: a main congress with national and international experts and industry stakeholders, and a smaller congress with networking activities. Due to the event’s success throughout the past years, the organisation announced that, next year, it will change its format to become the biggest mobility congress in Catalonia.
