From 11 to 13 July, all partners of GALILEO FOR MOBILITY traveled to Spain for the Consortium Meeting and the Advisory Group Meeting in Barcelona.
Kicking off on Wednesday the 11th, the consortium meeting started with an update on the project by Coordinator Pildo, after which WP2 and WP3 activities were discussed. The Thursday saw the all-day advisory group meeting, where three topics were discussed. The first discussion focused on the project pilots and opportunities for partnerships and scalability, the second one on big data on transport and how to exploit massive geolocation data, and the third one focussed on the case for improved geolocation.
After the meeting on Thurdsay, GAILEO FOR MOBIILTY held a networking event together with MaaS Catalonia,where both projects were pitched and a round table was orgnaised with the participation of experts from UITP, AMTU, IoMob and Bocconi University. Topics on the table were future mobility based on MaaS, as well as autonomous mobility for more efficient public transport. After the meeting, a party was held on the rooftop of The Foundery!
Friday saw the wrap-up of the advisory group meeting, and presentations from TSC and UITP on WP5 and WP7.
